Please note, a limit of 10 students per school will be imposed on the first round of registrations. After September 16th 2019, additional students per school will be accepted until registration is filled.
Event Overview
A day-long event hosted by the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women team, aimed at inspiring girls to explore STEM outside the classroom and embrace being heart healthy. Participants will be exposed to some of St. Louis’ leading science, technology, and engineering companies as they showcase their innovative work. This event will consist of speed mentoring, breakout sessions led by top STEM-related organizations, and opportunities to make lasting connections with companies and women leaders. If you join us, you will walk away knowing the impact you can make through a career in STEM!

Please Note
· All attendees must be at least 16 years old at the time of the event and identify as female.
· Students will need to collaborate with their school to ensure they have a chaperone accompany them to this event; they will also need to provide their own transportation.

Mathematics is Why.
To effectively answer where we are making the greatest impact, where our resources are optimally focused, and quantifiably measure the outcomes of our work, we must become a leader in evaluation, assessment, and modeling.
The American Heart Association’s Center for Health Metrics and Evaluation assesses and determines the gaps in data as well as trends in the social determinants of health, which will in turn help us to shape our programs and outreach. We need evaluation.
