The strength of the American Heart Association is in its volunteers. Over the last 50 years, AHA research has brought forth many life-saving discoveries like the EKG, CPR, bypass surgery and the pacemaker, just to name a few.  Thanks to the involvement of donors and volunteers like those on our Executive Leadership Team, the American Heart Association is able to continue funding medical research and educating our community which results in our ultimate goal – saving lives.
